About the Diary

@denkidiarist is an account that is framed as Eijirou's diary about daily events. He doesn’t realize that all his daily events revolve around a certain sunflower boy. Dialogue samples from Eijirou's conversations and some of his text messages are included as well. On occasion, I share glimpses into Denki's point of view using a variety of methods.The diary is also very canon-divergent. So while the core of the plot is rooted in canon, some plot points do contradict Horikoshi's canon. For example, when I started this story, the U.A. traitor had yet to be revealed. I picked a character to be the traitor but Horikoshi later revealed it to be someone else. I will follow my original plan rather than stick to canon on this one. Other things do follow canon though. It's very pick and choose. Hope that makes sense.The audience can talk directly to Eijirou and give him advice, which may change his actions. They also have the ability to manifest things in Eijirou's life, but only if their reactions are strong enough.The diary has a PG-13 rating due to mature content such as, but not limited to: abusive relationships, child negligence, death of a parent, attempted suicide (not depicted, only talked about), conversations about sex, etc. I won't stop anyone from enjoying the diary if they can handle it but read at your own risk. I have put mature content warnings in as many places as I can. I even put trigger warnings on individual tweets if they contain particularly harsh content. I will not take responsibility for triggering you if you ignore my multiple warnings.The diary follows our real-world calendar. The date that the entry was posted corresponds with the day that the event takes place. It was even synced up to the time of day (Eastern Time instead of Japan time though because I live in the states.) It was like that up until my hiatus in November 2020. It caused the diary to go out of sync with real-time, but I still follow the same calendar. I'm no longer trying to catch up to real-time because forcing myself to work my ass off on the diary when I'm feeling unwell has proven to have negative effects on my health. I have multiple chronic illnesses, mental and physical, and I've had to take three separate hiatuses because of it; one of which I spent in the hospital. Now I'm just trying to update consistently without regard for how far behind the diary timeline has gotten. It's better for everyone that way. You get more consistent content and I don't have to push myself to sickness anymore. All tweets from November 22 onward include the date and time in the caption to prevent any confusion.

Tumblr Archive

The diary archive is a collection of everything tweeted by @denkidiarist so that the diary can be easily read by those wishing to start at the beginning. It also serves as a way to preserve the diary if the Twitter account were ever to be deactivated or suspended. I've tried multiple options for the archive and ended up choosing Tumblr.There's also been a few small details that I've been changing as I've been uploading the diary to the archives. Enhanced graphics, correcting typos, addressing contradictions, etc. Just small changes that greatly improve the quality of the content.Choose which option you prefer below: Going straight to the Tumblr Archive, or learning more about the archive layout first.

I have chronic illnesses/disabilities, which causes maintaining the diary on the schedule to be difficult sometimes. I tried my best to do it that way but it only lasted a few months before I started having to take long breaks for my health.
